For me, language is a tool of communication. A tool that is used by human to convey messages from one to another. The language has its own rules. And of course different people have different language.
The interesting part is that I believe that language is not be inherited but to be learned. It means that even though you were born in an Iban's family, it is not a surprise if you did not know how to speak and understand Iban Language but understand other languages. It depend on your environment. If you are in a surrounding with Iban Language as their major language, you will know and understand Iban Language. What I am trying to say here is the acquisition of language depends on your environment.
